We recently wrote about the official HTC inline headphones adapter that are now shipping with T-Mobile G1 handsets. Some of our users who were early adopters of the G1 have been unable to talk T-Mobile into sending them a replacement jack for their d... Read more

I'm ok with it. Amazon sells a 2 in 1 adapter that allows you to charge the phone and listen to music at the same time. Can't wait to see how well it works!![]()
well i got mine for free! It came with my G1 in the box...i was actually surprised that it gives GOOD quality sound, i like itThe headphones are pretty decent for out of the box as well

i bought the 2 in one for my dad and he loves it. good sound quality and it was all of 3 dollars so go grab it of amazon.
Been using this to listen to music at work both with and without the 2 in 1 adapter (so the pathetic battery doesn't die). Works great and sound quality with included earbuds is pretty flat but with my sony earbuds is pretty good to me (not an audiophile exactly, but perhaps more discerning than most).
One thing I don't like is that the cord is ridiculously long on this adapter (probably so you can clip on for hands free usage) and is also probably why the included headphones have a short cord.
As an early adopter it would really be nice of TMO to gives us a $5.00 credit to buy these new inline headphones or something like that. It would show a willingness to met us part way. Still a TMO fan. I guess I will head over to Amazon to check theirs out.
