Top Android dev says Android Market sales are not good

1.needs a better search feature
2.needs screen shots for every app
3.better organizing

those are the only 3 i can think of right now

The cause of the slow sales in the Android Market is obvious. Lack of space to save apps on the phones!! As soon as Google allows downloading to the SD card, Market sales will increase.

The internal memory is nearly full, so I couldn't can't buy more apps.

"#5 most popular paid game" isn't saying much. I went to the games section, sorted by most downloaded and had to scroll through a few hundred more popular games in order to find "Battle for Mars," which was in fact the fifth paid one when sorted by popularity.

So the takeaway is that there are lots of free games to compete with.

Android market is not the only source of apps for android, this may contribute to the lack of revenue from the market or the incomplete revenue statistics.

interesting, the only thing i don't understand is how the market looks different on parts of donut and eclair as mentioned. i could see the ui changing from one version to the next. but the guts of the market afaik are not inside our phones...

which includes searching and screenshots and general organization...
and those are the things that need to improve, the ui is fine imo.

Am a newbie on andriod market,but I like the way you can download on the phone.
But for paying for item.
They should provide screen shoots of the item before buy.
They should provide better choice of paying i.e paypal, visa, or phone credit etc.
Installing apps on SD card than phone RAM
