No offense taken - it was just a 'quickie' for the story (of course its not an actual ad)

I for one am happy if this turns out to be true. If it goes to Wal-mart and is that cheap with a two-year plan, then we'll see this phone get into a lot of people's hands. When that happens, you'll only see more and more people developing for it. Better and Better apps will result.

    Go ahead with yourself, wal-mart.

if someone who shops at wal-mart (im referring to the overly ghetto, shoeless, shirtless, snaggletooth, etc) starts developing apps for the G1, I will go back to my high school and college professors and slap them cuz I'd be ashamed and feel retarded if one of those Wal-Martie's is smarter than me in being capable of creating apps.

lol, I didn't say that wal-mart shoppers should build apps for us... I said that the more snaggletoothed people that have the G1, the more apps will be built by developers. Granted, they may be apps that incorporate trailer home locations with tornado warnings on google maps, but that is beside the point.

I think "Do not Photoshop" needs to be added as 11th commandment...

    Technology is such a tool!

Honestly this can only be good for the G1 and the Android OS. The more people who have the phone the more bigger developers will want to develop it. Only good things can come from having the G1 in more markets and to more people outside 3G areas.
