    it really is, i love the gsm version and they just keep getting worse.

    I also agree. The bottom area is a complete waste of space and is a bad design, in my opinion. They could have utilized it much better for button layout. I guess this (along with the weak CPU) is part of the reason why it is only $99.

    But, I also think this will be a good thing for Android because it is an entry-level smartphone for those who do not need a powerhouse device. This is practical for a lot of people, especially those who do not need a tactile QWERTY and just want an Android phone.

    That still does not make up for the poor design though. The Sprint Hero is pretty sharp looking and the original European version is nice as well.

    c/s, but at least now Verizon has their entry level Android Phone the only carrier left now is AT&T and they don't seem to care much since Iphone appears to pay the bills there. Every carrier except AT&T appears to have thrown strong support behind Android though.
