Here you go, to clear up your question
To be in with a chance of winning, you’ll need to be a registered user and logged into the forum during the live blog. (http://live.androidcommunity.com). Sound simple? The winner will be selected at random and announced via the Live Blog. A notification will be sent out to the registered email of the user account, making it very important that the email address listed in your profile is correct. The winner then has 5 minutes to post in this forum to claim their prize.
Black G1 - Dead Pixel
Replacement #1 - "B" key worked 70% of the time
Replacement # 2 - Lets Hope 3rd Phone's a charm!
I *think* the rules mean that we'll be notified both live and by email? I ask because periodically I have to turn the volume down and will cry for weeks if I miss it![]()
This will def get alotta members to join.
You have to watch the live blog, which won't be possible without 3G! :-( The 5 minute email limit is bad. Most of us don't have PUSH email, either! My email refreshes every 15 minutes on my device. I'd hate if I won, but missed out because I'm a mobile user.
Bad idea, Android Community...
Maybe a 30 minute limit, but 5 is giving all the advantage to desktop users.
Can anyone semi narrate this live announcement, please?
The live feed has a test pattern and audio (music) now:

Steam works great from Ubuntu too.. (I'm a PC and I run Linux)![]()
...yeah, sign up and instantly leave. This is a mobile site. Why use a desktop-centered contest venue for a mobile fan site!? Many hardcore mobilist don't dare touch a Windows or Mac PC.
I think this wasn't very thought out.
