i hope the servers can handle that many people logged on at the same time, and all watching the live feed....

Oh yeah they can handle the load. The brain behind them Ewdie has managed more work load on other live casts.

Well, if they were trying to boost membership, it just worked. I've been reading the site for months; but now I'm a registered member

We aren't trying to boost membership per say. We want to show our users that we mean business. We take care of the people who contribute to the community the best we can. Its not a popularity contest. We are going to stay #1 with everyone's help. I don't feel that users quite get how well the live blogs go and what we have to offer. We take care of our users and are ALWAYS on top of things. This site is nothing compared to what it will be. Just stick around as we grow.

Well I will say this, even though I was just a lurker for months, I slowly found myself visiting this site way more than a few of the other android sites out there (we'll leave names out of this). The quality of the information on this site shows through loud and clear. Thanks for all the hard work!

Thank you for the recognition. We have a lot of people behind the scenes giving it there all as well. If there is anything we can do to make the experience better for the user we are up for it.
