Thread: battey cover, ports cover, sd card and chin buttons... IMO

Question battey cover, ports cover, sd card and chin buttons... IMO

Ok, this is my opinion only... but I think they could have done better with the items I mentioned on the post's title...

The battery cover feels it will break when u take I off... also if u look very close u will see that the battery cover doesn't look snug on the phone, there is a gap...

The covers for the ports feel flimsy as well... like they are going to come off...

The so card port is awefull to take it out... not very user friendly imo...

And the chin piece does get in a way of typing... badly...

Does anyone feel the same way about the things above?

Honestly, I feel quite the opposite on most of these things. I was impressed with the covers. ?

I noticed the back cover was hard to take off. The top part with the tab was easy, but trying to get the bottom half off without breaking the cover was tricky... Now the bottom part of the back cover is kind of lose I can push it in slightly and it makes a creaking noise. It still stays on though...

Agree on the battery cover. Feels cheap. I have heard the gap complaint before, but mine is not like that. After I put the back on I just press all the way around and it looks fine. Since it is cheap plastic, some phones probably have warped backs.

    Port cover...yep...coming off.

SD Card slot, I used another SD card to press the sd card that is in and it popped right out. If I was using my finger...yeah probably a bitch, but since I won't even try, my way works good.

I like the location so there is no chance of it popping out accidentally.

Chin I LIKE ALOT regardless of the reviews. With any new keyboard, you learn it. I hated it the first 20 minutes, now it's great. And for one handed browsing...the chin and trackball are FLAWLESS!

Typing while charging....that's another story. Sucks.

Good at least I am not the only one here...

I also agerr with what some others said that they wished the keys were a little higher too... so it had more travell when u would push them down.

No gap with my battery cover, maybe you should take it off and put back on. I really don't have any of the problems you mentioned....sorry.

the sd card cover popped off on my first time, and there is no recourse for me. I will have to order a replacement part from HTC whenever they get them. and it's causing my memory card to be in and out all of the time. annoying! t-mobile won't cover it under warranty or buyer remorse. i would have to pay the $130 deductible.
