Did you place the order under your wife's account? Might want to double check that, i see no reason for your wife to receive the text. I got the text on my phone, not my wife's.

Even if thats the case, he must have been logged in on his online account. Dont really know what happened there, but at least he is getting the G and if that was really the case all he has to do is call customer service and switch the data plan.
