No one knows if this image is real, a phony or simply a mock up, but we may very well be getting our first non-blurry look at the HTC Dream. And one thing to note–this one’s in black.
As you may remember, last week we talked several times about this Android-based handset. We got a look at the device via video, rumors abounded about the G1 moniker and a potential September release date on T-Mobile. But this is the first time we’ve had a clear overhead view of the HTC Dream.

Yes, I think this image is real, this will be the HTC Dream.
sorry for my english
thats the correct photo of the htc dream...I got a sneak peak of it from a close relative in NY
Hi, first post on the forum.
It seems as if those two photos are photoshoped. Im pretty sure thats the general look of the phone but I dont think it would be that slick.
I find it to be perfect. It's a a phone before it's anything else. So, those five hard buttons at the bottom of the phone, readily available AT ALL TIMES is perfect. Then, for text entry, the slide out keyboard is great, with nice big keys, and having it saves crucial screen real estate. I find it much better than the iPhone. Attractive too.
I certainly hope they dont brand this phone with the T-mobile logo everywhere haha. I wish I could buy it unlock straight from HTC.
any info on what plans are going to be like?
Im a bit shaky about T mobile 3g. I think they are a bit inexperience with it.
I am looking forward to the side kick-like option!
I agree... they have said it will start with 1MBps and then by the same time of the next year it will be 2/3 of all covered area under 3G network with better speed...
