Default T-Mobile asks employees to be silent

It appears T-Mobile really wants to conceal any information regarding the G1 if only for the weekend. An email was sent out to all employees requesting that they tell customers that all details regarding this device, launch details and pre-order dates are purely speculation.

    The email reads

    • Let customers know information announcing pre-sale, launch dates or details of a T-Mobile device running on the android platform is speculation only.
    • Inform customers that more information on the device will be available on September 23.

Given the fact the device has not yet been officially announced, and talks about pre-orders, the email only suggests longer a delay and possible a holiday release date. Lets keep our fingers crossed.

For the first official information be sure to be here for the live blog of T-Mobiles Android announcement event. http://live.androidcommunity.com
