Simple comparison: G1 vs FUZE
G1 = 179.99
FUZE = 149.99 (after $25 MIR)
Both phones come with 2-year plan and now the best part is DATA PLAN.
G1 = $25 gets you: Unlimited Web + 400 SMS, MMS & Picture messages
FUZE = $20 gets you: Unlimited Web + AT&T Navigation Turn-by-turn realtime navigation.
Granted no SMS package - but can easily be added to the whole package for $5 in total of 200 SMS, MMS and picture messages.
So choose wisely now:
Should person go with HTC Fuze (HTC Touch Pro) which is cheaper by $25 dollars at this moment and Data Plan of $25 that includes Unlimited Web, Real-time turn-by-turn navigation and 200 SMS on ATT 3G network
OR
Person should go with HTC G1 and $25 Data Plan that includes Unlimited Web + 400 SMS on T-Mobile 3G network.
It seems to be a NO BRAINER!!!

Windows Mobile 6. LoL. Sigh.
The Fuze. Haha.
Granted it is not the best and Android is far more superior OS than WM - BUT at this moment Android gentlemen SUCK BIG TIME! It is fast and stable and what not - but sucks the battery like crazy - apps are running in background, etc ... in simple words it is not finished product and was released. We should give high five to Google for putting it together - but I will not buy Android device until it settles down with the normal specs that one advanced phone has.

In order for it to be fair, you would need to do a feature comparison...
Wow...sounds like such a great deal
ATT: 900min, Unlimited Nights/Weekends = $59.00
T-mobile:1000 min, Unlimited Nights/Weekends = $49.99
So...now lets look at this deal again.
You are paying $108.12 more a year for 100 less min a month, 200 less text a month...but you get turn by turn nav.
Garmin stand alone gps 79.99 shipped here
So subtract that and you get roughly the $30 price difference between the phones($28.13)
So assuming that 1. You need turn by turn and purchase a standalone and/or 2. that no one writes a high quality turn by turn for less than $80, the cost pretty much breaks even
However you still get 1200 min less a year (100/month) and 2400 text less a year(200/month)
Ya know...you're right. It does seem like a NO BRAINER
ALSO...where are you getting these prices? Mine are from t-mobile.com. ATT has the Fuze listed for $299 after rebate, granted Amazon has it for 149, so I follow that. However on ATT's website while trying to set up a new line AT&T Navigator is 9.99/month after the first 30 days...No where can I find it included in the cost. Also Amazon and ATT list the Unlimited data plan @ 30.00. This would put the Fuze as much more expensive than you stated.
Please explain. Thanks![]()
