Search Function DOES NOT WORK!!
Please stop telling people to use the search function, and closing threads when the search function DOES NOT WORK!!!! Seriously!!
If it bothers you that much, merge the similar topics, or FIX THE SEARCH FUNCTION!!!!!!

OK.. So it is just the search function on the top of the page that does not work.. The Search tab on the blue line functions properly...
Now if someone would either fix the one on the top of the page, or make it go away, that would rock!! If someone does not know that they are posting something that has already been touched on, then odds are, they will probably not know that there are TWO Search tabs.. and the first one you notice is NOT the one that works!!

The search function does work!!! Don't use the one at the top!!!! Use the one on the second blue bar down where it says user cp, faq, members list, etc...

Correct, to search the forums, you need to use the one on the blue bar.

This is where an emoticon with a foot in the mouth would come in handy. No worries, I didn't realize that the search function at the top of the page was useless until just a few weeks ago. It happens to the best.

You could always do an advanced search and select search in title only so it only brings up the threads that have your search subject in the title, and if its not there I would say its safe to start a new thread on it. If half of the people on this site did that we would see a drastic decrease in duplicate threads..

OK.. NOW I see.. I was using the Search on the top of the page, and the Quick Links... I guess my vision was being selective and I missed the search button on the blue bar.. I only figured that out after looking for the advanced search you mentioned.. thanks for that by the way!!
Still the Search Thingy at the top of the page should be fixed, or should go away!!
