yeah,.. if anything, the initial sync may have been a little hit, but subsequent syncs just transfer new/edited items and delete old ones

well lucky me i still have today and tomorrow to return my phone and cancel my account before im locked in for 2 years. which i plan on doing now.

10gb might be alot for just a phone to use, but when you consider the extraordinary possibilities of this phone it might one day not be so hard to hit the cap. More importantly im a man of my word. i dont change my tune after ive made a deal. and if they think for a second that they are going to be able to do this kinda crap to me, well... least i have an informant.

my plans on this phone are to deffinately teather the 3g connection to my lappy on the road, and at home. im not going to pay more money a month for a home phone or connection. so i will use a considerable ammount of bandwidth.

I know im not going to start a revolution or anything. ill be happy to go get a different phone on a network that doesnt pull this junk.

    thats just my .03 lol

im not 100%, but i'm fairly sure tethering is against the terms of the contract, so if that was your plan, you're not as on the straight and narrow as you claim to be.

Not to completely sheet on your reply but check this.

Now with that in place... though they are concerned with the network issues its not actually against contract.

now i wont ever say im a saint. but this change is bs enough for me to quit while im ahead.

that link is interesting. i still think it's against the TOS, but i like that they are willing to allow the app to exist and give you the choice to use it or not.

my guess is that if anything, these caps will only be enforced for repeated problem users. all in all it should benefit those of us who use our phones normally.(and even occasional tethering would be fine with this cap)

Wow I'm surprised this thread got so much attention on the webz. I got Quoted/linked on androidcommunity, Gizmodo, and dslreports. Wasn't expecting that to happen.

Things are getting kinda dull now. Nothing news worthy going on right now. Recently we introduced the EIP which means basically you can make the purchase of your phone or accessories in 4 payments instead of 1. Been out for a while so I'm sure most of y' all know. G1 finally came out in white after delay after delay. Oh, And I'd wait on buying a Samsung Behold. Holy cow for a phone that young its got probs. You'll be fine as long as you don't have a SIM PIN or the battery doesn't overheat.

Can't believe I haven't checked this place in weeks! Hope y' all doing well this christmas season.

P.S. 2 inches of rain plus below freezing temps after said rain = sucky drive home from T-work.
