Mine is due to getting more than 15 minutes of fame for helping find a missing girl. It got me in People Magazine as well as countless tv shows & radio spots. I also got a nice trip to DC to meet numerous Congressmen & Senators sponsored by CourtTV.

on my current name on here, started as a gmail address to try out google services on the web a while back... one of my favorite movies The Usual Suspects character Kaiser Soze, but i spelled mine different cause if you saw the movie the survivor from the boat said the name so fast and i wanted my gmail email to be 1 word, merged it together and made it sound like how the dude said it in the movie... was gonna use kobayshi.... i have pretty much gotten use to google services ( blogspot, youtube login, picassa,etc ) that all my freakin set
rvies are connected to the name and i couldnt change it to robpet2( i use on other forums like xda, howard forums ) so i made my nickname here the same as my gtalk to make it easy.

Before highschool (whew...8 years ago?) I needed a name for a game I was playing so I googled "Elven Name Generator" (I had just read Tolkien's trilogy so shush) and one of the Names I liked was Faredegyn. People always had a hard time pernouncing it so they just called me "Fared" or "Fare".

My bike brand of choice was always diamondback. So once i got my new Diamondback joker78 a few years ago, jokerdb78 became my nick name for everything online.

Pretty simple I know but a cool nick for me. Atleast I think so.

I love hearing how people come up with their screen names. Mine's nothing earthshattering...I love to garden, and I'm wife to my garden and to my husband of 16 years. Pretty down to earth.

It's my alias as a music producer....I live in Dallas but I'm from Detroit & Gratiot is a major street in Detroit..and you've heard the saying "keeping up with the jones' " So Jones represents forward thinking and staying ahead of what everyone else is doing in music and in life in general

From the 1982 sci-fi movie, Blade Runner which was based on the Philip K. D1ck (spelled that way because the forum filter does not accept his name!) novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep?
The Tyrell Corporation, headed by Dr. Eldon Tyrell, created androids such as the owl used as my avatar as well as super-human models; one of them killed the egomaniacal doctor. The film was set in 2019--seems awfully close now!--and dealt with themes such as global warming, overpopulation and genetic engineering. One of the great movies.
