    Default You guys need to fix the [LIST] functionality

    Whenever you try to make a list, none of the bullet points show up and it just looks like a mess. Like on this thread...

    It's a stylesheet issue. It may be a preference, who knows.

    The stylesheet contains:

    Code:
    li{
        list-style: none;
    }
    Which removes the bullets. There are also classes setup called list1 list2 and list3 which call for a custom bullet icon, but that style isn't applied.

    All that to say that nothing is "broken" technically. Just that the style applied calls for no bullets.

    Also, "You guys need to fix..." should be changed to "I appreciate the work you guys do, but I don't like how the lists are on these forums... any way that can be changed?"

    I have nothing to do with the layout of the site, but the guys who do, put a lot of work into the site as a whole. You probably shouldn't tell them what they should or shouldn't do.

    It wasn't meant as a demand. I definitely do appreciate the work the AC guys do on this site. But the fact of the matter is it's broken. They shouldn't even allow this function to be used if they didn't want to show bullets on something that when in the post editor shows an unordered (bulleted) list.

    So fix it if you want, just letting you guys know it's messed up.

    So was having no visible bullets for lists a mistake or something the site admins really want? Recently, I had to manually add *'s to my list to make it look like a list.

    You have to click on "go advanced" to see the options for bulleted lists, etc.

    Wow, you guys are right, it doesn't work. I will look into this and see what we can do to fix it.

    My apologies.

    Just making sure we stay on topic and continue discussing the original complaint of this 'retired' thread.
