I have another post in another thread but it was a tad different - short of calling Rogers and having to send my phone in so that they can flash the original Rogers ROM and get it back to factory settings (if they will), does anyone have original Rogers ROM files? I have the rogersrecovery.img and rogersradio.img files from another thread but I haven't been able to get the phone to do anything with those (putting them into the SDK and following the fastboot... issue here is that the HBOOT 0.95.0000 HAS no fastboot functionality). Last night it was stuck, until we flashed DREAIMG.nbh and now I'm on T-Mobile.
My phone is currently a TMobile phone so I'm concerned about not being able to get 3G (which I'm obviously paying extra for). I'm currently on the Edge network but Edge blows, plain and simple. And I've called rogers for the APN settings and he told me I could get 3G... I would be able to test 3G if i was downtown, but I'm not right now and I don't think its working, even then.
Stats are as follows:
Model Number: T-Mobile G1
Firmware version: 1.0
Baseband Version: 62.33.20.08H_1.22.12.29
Kernel Version: 2.6.25-01843-gfea26b0 android-build@apa27#6
Build Number: kila-user 1.0 TC4-R29 115247 ota-rel-keys,release-keys
When I start up (CAMERA + POWER) I get the following settings (on red/green/blue/white screen *sigh*)
DREA210 PVT 32B
HBOOT-0.95.0000
CPLD-4
RADIO-1.22.12.29
Sep 2 2008
Serial 0
Am I simply in need of a less ****ty ROM here in order to make my phone usable and decent again? Or should I just send it into Rogers and have them fix it and take 6-10 weeks to do it? Any help is greatly appreciated!
