yea,my card is partition so i opened up the "welcome 2 apps to sd" and clicked move apps to sd button

That's what I did and now only 2 apps work now

Wait a minute -

For 1.8b4 and on this is automatically done if you have met the requirments

Does this mean I never had to use the APPS2SD app to move my apps cuz they were already moved? and does that mean if I download more apps from the market I dtill won't have to move them because they will be done automatically?

Hmmm...try doing the Apps 2 SD before re-flashing the Hero Rom. I'm just guessing here but that can't hurt your phone. You did partition it as ext2 and not 3 right? I'm not sure if 3 is specifically for caches or not. Sorry...not too knowledgable on the Apps/Cache stuff yet. I did it for the first time today myself.

yeah I did it ext2. I'm re-flashing right now, seeing if it does it automatically.

I'm pretty sure you have to be rooted in order to use any ROM, if not someone correct me.
