Broken Signal G1!

Hey well for open my phone up to fix the problem i have with my screen connection, i accidently screw on top of the wire in the G1. So now it not really broken, everything working fine except it doesnt get any signal at all.
I just wanna ask what the option i have now :
- Call tmobile, "make-up" some excuses to exchange another phone? (i dont have the insurance)
- Buy the wire that i cut to fix the phone (http://www.cellphone-repair-shop.com/50H00441-05M-A.htm)(well is this wedsite trustworthy?)
- Any other options that i can try?

Why did you cut a wire?

Usually everything that is inside the device....is needed to it can function properly.

You could repair the the wire, even replace the wire. You'd probably want to learn how to solder. I am curious why you would cut a wire though? They don't just through wires into cell phones willy nilly. You really shouldn't trim your circuits like you do your hedges.

MISUNDERSTANDING
I didnt cut the wire, what i meant was when i put the phone back together, the wire stay on top of the hole for the screw (instead in the side of the hole) so when i screw it in, it screw through the wire and cut the wire. Very accidently u know......
Well i wanna try what sliva said but it not that easy, it a UMTS COAXILA CABLE(80mm) Type of wire, it gonna take alot of still to put the wire back together so i will try but let see.....

You can try to get a bigger cable from other device such as an old laptop with wifi (the antenna cable is behind the lcd).
Some PCI wifi cards have extended antennas... you could use the cable...

But if nothing works try to get a cheap G1 damaged at eBay or just buy the part...

The worst thing is to call T-Mo and lie... they will probably charge you for the full price of the phone...

YEA! i just try my best for another hour :P to solder the wire back together (using a small LED wire) and it actually working right now but idk yet so let see for tmr......scary thing is the signal bar keep jumping from 2 -> 4 lol :P

Well let see how many day it can last :P
I will use like this for couple day so see if anything wrong. If it slower or no signal again, i will order the part of that thing for 40$ T_T hurt but well i have to do it
