Right, but since some users have root access, you can technically flash a normal phone with an ADP build (in this case the older build, and just wait for the OTA pop up to claim you're the first since dev's received OTA updates already, etc).

A lot of people would use the publicity to get users for their small time blog, just look at iPhone blogs for an example

nope its not a dev phone, its a regular g1 a user from phandroid got the ota and took a photo of it.

so its evidence that t-mobile / google are posting the ota 1.5 cupcake already so just gotta wait patiently until we get further notice.
