    Default Cyan 3.4.1

Updated to 3.4.1 this morning. Didn't do a wipe, just applied, all I got were force closes. Did a hard reset, reapplied Hero 1.3.5 and got stuck in boot loop. Did another hard reset and Hero came back like it was supposed to. Anyone else having a problem with Cyan 3.4.1?
    Thanks

I did the same thing (applied and no wipe) and got the same result (force closes).
I then installed HTCHero 1.3.5 theme and everything was fine.

Only because I had HeroTheme before I applied the update.

You didnt need to wipe.. just needed to install the theme again

Updated this morning without doing a wipe. No problems here.

Even when I wipe, it still goes back to hero. How can I get past that? Just get a blank screen, I can get the battery level and signal strength on top but nothing else. Any help mwill be appreciated.
    Thanks

to get rid of the hero theme you are going to have to install the 3.4.1 update zip again, this will wipe out the previous theme. doing a wipe only removes data and not the theme.

remember, the Hero theme has been saved as 'update.zip', so re-install Cyan 3.4.1 as update.zip...

the steps are: reboot in recovery, wipe, install Cyanogen 3.4 update (For the Cyanogen mod, the latest stable release (should be 3.4). This is flashed in recovery mode, just as the jf1.5 (i.e rename update.zip and press alt + s in recovery), after doing a wipe (highly recommended).), install hero 1.3.5 update (The hero theme is installed after you install the cyanogen update in the same way as all updates (rename to update.zip, press alt + s in recovery mode) and be sure to put the audio files from the hero theme post in your fat32 partition of the sd card).

Finally got it back, wiped then installed Cyan 3.4.1. Then applied Hero 1.3.5. Installed my apps, back to normal. It took so long as I was watching my 9 year old granddaughter all day and I couldn't get anything done until my wife got home.
    Thanks all.

    Hi folks,

I just installed the new version, BUT where do I get a hold of HTC Hero 1.3.5? Is it nice? Any screen shots?

    Thanks
