downloading to my g1 phone

I am having trouble downloading to my g1 phone except dolphin browser.it won't fully accet any thing .
How do I make dolphin the main browser .thank you I am not very technicol minded but need the keyboard as I am dylexic

When you attempt to download something a block should pop up with all your browsers listed, you will be asked to check the one you want as your default browser.
