Default Eclipse setup: "repository not found" at https://dl-ssl.google.com/android/eclipse/

Trying to get my Eclipse Classic IDE going by following instructions at
    http://code.google.com/android/intro/installing.html

But when I get to the step Installing the Eclipse Plugin (ADT) I get "no repository found" at the location in the tutorial. I'm also getting a 404 at that address. Great, I just love when starting a new development environment I can't get the 3rd step going. Makes me real pumped to go out and find the next error in the tutorial.

I tried http too. And http://dl.google.com/android/eclipse/

    Suggestions? Anyone else seeing this?

I have this problem too. How can I instal ADT otherwise?

Could it be that you're trying to load the site from the Android SDK instead of from the Eclipse IDE? It works when I load it from Eclipse. See instructions here: "http://developer.android.com/sdk/eclipse-adt.html"

I've had the same problem. Very annoying. One time I could get to it via http from the browser but not from within Eclipse; I ended up have to download it locally and then install from there by directly the address to localhost.

It's never worked via https for me and i've tried every SDK version. The new install process is a lot easier though. Gonna have to get back into development now that I finally have an Android phone and can see what's missing in the market.
