How To Root Your MyTouch The Noob Way!

Hi everyone. Finally rooted my MyTouch. Ran into some problems but I figured out. When it comes to this rooting thing Im probably one of the biggest noobs when it comes to it. So if I can do it I know you can.

The links that I post are the steps you need to follow. What ever is in the video just follow it and you will be fine. I also will post 2 links to 2 diffrent roms that you can use. Easy as that.(These are 32B ROMS)

Rom Link 1:[ROM] CyanogenMod - Zoom Zoom Zoom
(Also There will be another link under this link. It is the audio resource link. After you place the ROM zip folder in your SD Card extract the AUDIO RESOURCE FOLDER to your SD Card)

well , if you do want to use the one click root app , here are some instructions . thanks chibears . im going to see what i can do with this thread also , maybe i'll add some emergency instructions to it , just in case , i hope you wont mind .

This is the same method I used. Good post. It should help a lot of people out here. Amazing how easy it is now. Well it was always easy but this way was a breeze.

Nope dont mind at all. Is it possible to make this a sticky.

Hey guys i tried doing the one click rooting process on my T-mobile Mytouch 3G running Donut but it did not work after opening the flash program it gave me an error and i was not able to root my phone. I've looked online everywhere but have not found any help... Please if you can help me....
