    Default How to upgrade from JF recovery console to Cyanogen Recovery


    Hello All,

    I rooted my G1 a while back with Jesus Freak Recovery console using the old school method. How can I upgrade/update to the Cyanogen Recovery console? Thanks very much for any help in advance!!

    just find the file put it on the root of your memory card and then use recovery console to flash it.

    It's an image, you don't flash it. The instructions on installing it through the terminal are on this link.

    Thanks for the clarification and nice link ggrant3876

    Sometimes I have difficulty finding what I want on XDA so it is always nice to have someone point you in the right direction.

    There is another recovery image alot of have switched to, it has quite a few more options.
