"get installed applications"?

Do you mean "get TO THE installed applications"?
if so: settings >> applications >> manage applications

Do you mean "get applications installed"?
if so:
--Do you mean from the marketplace?
--if so: market >> applications / games >> pick an app >> install

--OR

--Do you mean from the web?
--if so: settings >> applications (and then check the box for "unknown sources"

If you mean anything other than those... lol... I dunno what to tell you.

EDIT: wow, I just noticed my coding background coming through, with all those IF and OR statements... lol... I'm such a dork.

If you want to download and install applications, you can do this by going to the Android Marketplace, search for the app you want and hit the install button.

If you want to use installed apps, keep in mind that once an application has downloaded and installed, it will show up in your Program Menu (press the bottom icon on your G1 home screen).
