I just could not wait anymore, so I found a thread over xda-developers on how to download the official update, put on your micro sd card and update your phone.
1) Download the update from google website: https://android.clients.google.com/u...-RC19+RC28.zip
2) Rename the file you just downloaded to update.zip
3) Copy the file update.zip to the root of your micro sd card.
4) Now turn off your phone and turn it back on while holding the home key.
5) When you see a triangle with a exclamation sign and a phone, slide open your keyboard and press ALT-L to display the menu and then ALT-S to start the update process.
6) Wait for the update to finish. If prompted, press Home + Back to restart your phone.
7) Wait a little bit more and done!

Cool. I got nothing to do here at work. Thanks!
This did not work for me.
After the exclamation mark, I get the little box with the arrow to the phone for a couple of seconds and then it goes back to the excalamation mark about 2 seconds later.
I also formatted the SD Card and redownloaded the file. I made sure to name it update.zip...
It didn't work for me. I downloaded the zip file and renamed to update.zip and placed in root of card unzipped. When I hit power + home button I get the exclamation mark with the phone and I hit alt-s and it does something quick but it gets stuck there where I had to remove battery for it to start. Anything I am doing wrong.
Do you lose all you're settings?
