Just do the steps at: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=439733

I just installed AnyCut, chose Device Info, then did 'check for upgrade'.

On the 2nd attempt it found the update, downloaded it, then when i opened the keyboard it said 'update available!' and did the normal upgrade. No command line required!
    i think it's working it's d/ling something lol

Thank you! I just followed the instructions on the first page and it worked! The update using AnyCut didn't work for me though.

It does not work for me. I tried reformatting my SDCad to FAT and FAT32 and no luck. Same message, file not found.
I have the file there update.zip

I don't have any other card to test.

is there any way to put it back to rc19? the update worked for me, but now there are more problems than i ever had. the market, for one crashes if i'm not in wifi. if thats because the market only works on wifi, that would explain it(if thats true), but not the fact that i connect to a network, it stays there for 2 seconds and then disconnects, going back to 3g or edge. anyone else having this problem, it's irritating as hell.

This is what I get when I try updating:

    -----------------------------

    Android System recovery utility
    E:Can't open /cache recovery/command

    (...Key guide...)

    Installing from sdcard...
    Finding update package...
    E: Can't mount /dev/bloc/mmcblk()p1
    (no such file or directory)
    E:Can't mount SDCARD:update.zip
    Installation Aborted

    ------------------------------

I've tried several times, with .zip without .zip, formatted SD card in FAT16.

    Any ideas?

    1) Can't access ANYTHING on 3G (Maps, Android Marketplace, YouTUBE etc.)
Confirmed the rest of the phone works on Edge and Wifi though, weird
I think my browser works though... and Mail.
Nevermind, Browser doesn't work, mail does though

If you still wanna go through with it, I connected my Phone via USB to copy the update.zip file to the root directory of the stock 1gb sandisk.
    No formats whatsoever. RC19+28

I only hope there is :
    1) A way to downgrade
    2) the OTA update overrides this one, but from what i've read, this is the "updated" version and will just skip my phone?

Well this is weird. I did the manual update as stated in the OP and everything went perfect and I retained ALL functionality. Today I got to reading this post so I went to my phone and found that I was experiencing these exact same issues. After rebooting the phone I got all functionality back. Odd. I'll be keeping an eye on it.

Edit: Well that was fast. After 5 minutes I was back to where you were, Kineda. I cannot connect to anything even if I force it onto EDGE. Unfortunately I have no WiFi to check.

Edit #2: OK, so now it seems it goes back and forth between not being able to access data and being able to.
