Default Painting out the red and green buttons on the G1

I'm not diggin the primary-ish red and green buttons on the face of the G1, especially my brown one that I'll have in my hands shortly (if I don't receive it soon you're gonna read about me the Huffington Post - something about a mad man scaling the u.n. bldg on 1st ave in the city with a banner reading, "forget that the u.s. economy is tanking! where's my ****in' G1?!!?!?")

I'm going to paint out the buttons - anyone know what type of paint I can use that'll stick (i'll scuff up the buttons with super fine sandpaper for extra paint grip).

    thanks in advance

Why you would do this beats me. I guess whatever floats your boat.

    360Photographer,

I want to do this because i think the red and green colors kinda make the phone look cheesy. So to decheesify the look, I'll paint em!

I too wish all the buttons were white or black depending on the phone color...however in person the buttons didn't bother me at all.

ggreeenwood33, i think i'm going to keep it simple and do it all up monochromatic style. I'm getting the brown one and probably just doing a lighter version of the main color, or i don't know for sure until I have it in my sight!

good deal... i wish everything was just black... black everything out. with a blue backlight. love it. and wish it was that navy rubber material like on the t-mobile wing and some other cheap phones.

I don't know why you think that since almost all cell phones have it.

    secrecyguy,

the reason i think that is because that's just my personal taste - pretty simple really. To each their own!
