Smile Question about Android Linux Kernel

    Hi.

I am a newbie of Android.
While Android is based on the Linux 2.6 Kernel, I can not find the Kernel source code in the Android SDK.
Would you please tell me where are they?
I want to know how the Android emulator communicate with the Linux kenel.
    Thanks.

    Default Google Android source code

Google didn't release any source code for Android Linux Kernel at the moment, other successful porting that you found is actually through reverse engineer the emulator image.

this is the some URL talking about this:

However I find these ports are limited to limited range of devices only, until Google can release the source code, then you might see it appearing on variety of mobile device.
