The 2nd android theme =]

First thanks to Stericson.JesusFreke for there help on xda .. cause without them i wouldnt of even thought about it .. nor where to start ..

instructions

just put update.zip on your phone

reset your phone ... the call button (green) +menu+ power button
then hold the power button and the home button until you get to a screen with a phone and exclamation mark
then press ALT+S .. and there your done
i suggust having the dev boot loader its on xda.. and as always you will need root .. for everybody without root just say darn google 3 times and hopefully you will have it soon lol


.. this is just a beta version of my theme .. im going to customize almost every icon i see fit .. just because .. lol.. maybe i'll make some Reflective Icons for the menus and stuff .. i only released this because i really didn't like the notifications bar in the other one no offense Stericson .. but because of the black bars the texted appeared to be smaller then it was ..

No, didn't work. The looks of the themes I seen aren't enough yet to look into. Hopefully more can be done safer.

Yeah this release i just wanted it for ppl who like colorful status .. i like the fact that when my signal is low .. it turns yellow or orange when really low .. i cudnt show that off in a screen shot because i get full service at my house .. or when im on edge or 3g i can really see the big difference when it switches because ur eyes pay more attention to the color .. and also the transparent notification screen is just sexy lol..but i did this in 15 mins in photoshop .. my next theme im going to try to make it more eye candy if i can ..any advice can be helpful tho what would you like to see in a theme?

anybody here has root that is willing to try it .. i wanna know if theres any bugs.. i dont think so tho..comments .. or just things i should add....im trying to release my next version by friday .

Great! I'm glad to see others pushing out themes! Looks like you've got it just the way you want it. What specifically was the issue you had with my status bar? I've thought about widening the white stripe across but only if people found it to be to close.... I'm also really glad ya'll liked my idea of the translucent notification bar, I agree with dave, it is sexy as hell.

All in All, I am very happy to see others pushing themes.

I have a challenge for you!
I could never get this to work, maybye you can. Try editing the button colors, they are located within framework-res.apk. Everytime I tried editing them they wouldn't look right on the phone. If you get them to look right please let me know how you did so.

The problem was because of the black to my eyes.. it made the text appear smaller i dunno maybe it was just my eyes... and which buttons ??

the buttons inside of framework. Android uses the same image for every button. You know the button that say clear notifications? Thats an example of the button image.
