Well I did it. I followed the steps on the CyanogenMod wiki page, and I didn't screw it up. It was insanely easy to do. Anyone out there who wants some better features on your phone, please consider doing this.
Thanks again to everyone's help and support throughout this process. I wasted a lot of time worrying about bricking my phone, when I should have done this months ago.
I can't wait to see what the future holds for Android!

Hahaha ! I thought the same thing when I innitially rooted , but now it is MUCH easier
