want a 16gb micro sd card for my g1 and see all these listings on ebay for great prices on these but say "bulk packaging" are these fakes or some type of scam why wouldnt they have retail packaging? any luck with these or wheres the best price to get these cards

I dont even think they have the 8 Gig SD Card working right yet. So to want a 16 Gig SD Card is jumping the gun, You really need to wait a bit longer. But thats just what i've heard and know.
I bought my 8gig class 6 card from newegg.com Its an "A-Data" i figure its alot better then buying from ebay. When you compare memory cards make sure you know what speed class rating it is.
As for the memory cards on ebay i wouldnt trust them. Most of them are fake.

bulk packaging simply means that these items were to be sold in bulk, and they don't have the same pretty (retail) packaging that you would normally see in store... no difference in the product quality if indeed it is a real auction...
with some products that are sold in bulk (take for example a blackberry), manuals, installation cd's, and usb cables are sometimes not supplied in order to further discount the phone to buyers that are purchasing large quantities of the product
