    Cool AIM Client--Pic Included


    I've recieved several questions regarding the layout of AIM. So here are a couple pics to hold you guys over.

    I hope an AIM client comes out soon that uses the data connection instead of SMS

    The big three messaging clients, MSN AIM & YAHOO, all look identically the same. Only difference between the three is the logo branding.

    i love aim. msn doesnt do it for me. but looks good

    Let me say something about the messaging client. Make sure that you set a different ringtone to the IM client. The default tone that the G1 will play when you receive an IM is the same as the notification set to notify you of a new text message.

    This isn't really related to AIM and has probably already been answered (sorry!), but do text messages "thread" on the G1?
