Android market lags

Running cyanogen 4.0.4 here

When I try to download apps or update from the market, the downloads never start. They just show the progressbars, and says "starting download"
My statusbar shows I have 3g coverage..

Anyone seen this before?

Mine did that this morning, had three or four started before any of the downloads actually started. Was using wifi on my other phone without a sim card. Once the first one started I did about 3 others with no lag. Have since updated to 4.1.7.

mine does that sometimes but either a reboot or restarting the download will almost always work

I tried both of those a few times and did not work.
Ended up having to revert to a previous nandroid backup. Everything works fine after that.

AFAIK, the only thing I had done was install the ENOCH theme. I guess something must have gotten messed up in the process.

I am also running 4.0.4 and get the same problem sometimes.

Also been getting apps that finnish downloading and never fully install but yet when i go to the my downloads section it says installed. Does this mean that they are fully installed and it just somehow dident tell me through the notifcation bar? I always uninstall and reinstall and it fixes it but would rather not have to download it twice... anyone know whats going on?

Yes, I get the same thing sometimes too. But they actually do install, I guess the notification just doesn't make it in.

Also noticed sometimes the app says installed, but doesn't show up in the apps list (tab) until I reboot the phone.

I get this problem once every couple of days. You can try calling t-mobile (if you have tmobile that is) and having them reset your network and it might fix it. Worked once for me, but I started having this problem again today and resetting the network didn't fix anything. The only other thing to do is wipe the phone. Sucks, but it works.

Kind of ironic too. I started having the problem when I was trying to download mybackup pro so that I could restore my data if I ever had to wipe... lol
