Anyone getting u542i3?? potential glitch?

When im on the home screen, and press the "end call" red button, it goes straight to my phone book and shows "u542i3". its searching for that in my phone book, instead of locking my phone... anyone get the samething? also, when im on the menu screen, and press return/back (the arrow), the screen goes blank. doesnt lock it or anything, just goes blank until i hit another key (other than menu).

Also, sometimes i cant lock the phone at all. i press the end call and i have to keep getting out of the phone book and press the red button again (NUMEROUS of times) before i can lock it.

anyone getting this?

Have you tryed doing a master reset? If not try doing this. Remember, that the handset must be completely off to do the button reset. With the handset off, press and hold the HOME and POWER buttons down.

called Tmobile. Have to send the phone back in, and get a replacement...
