Best : anycut
Worst : too many to list
Isn't there a rating system on the app market. Can't you just use that as your guide ?

Me and Android are officially connected.
top two: shazaam, shopsaavy
honorable mention: wikitude, pintail, locale
i'll check out the nightsky app later
worst: a good amount of them
All the apps I've horded so far (no particular order)
Amazed (game): Fun w/ accelerometer
BlueBrush: = paint
BreadCrumz: For people who get stupid lost, but are great with cameras, GPS, and computers, oh, and have patience
Bubble: sooner or later you're gonna need a level
BubbleWrap: Best game/activity ever
BudgetDroid: Have not tested this
Gmote: Handily remote control your PC
Imeem: Like pandora and last.fm (it's ok)
lolcatBuilder: Annotates Pictures, specifically in lolcat style, dogs, cats ppl, whatever. It's simple works and could be handy.
Orienteer: It's a compass and highly useful, necessary.
Phonalyzr: This one rocks, gives you graphs of your phone usage
Shazam: Must have, very impressive, can search for the name of a song just by taking a 5 second recording
TooDoo: the best todo list out there, based on location too.
Speedtest: a tool everyone should have
Not a complete list but, of the ones that I found using this is what I've liked so far.
Probably my favorite is TuneWiki.
I use it all of the time, love how it shows you the lyrics, as the song is played!
My son's (9y.o.) favorite it PicSay! I keep showing him what I think are these cool games, amazing programs, but every time he asks to play with my G1 and I'm in the mood to let him, he ends up opening up PicSay, and creating some very silly photo which he sends to his mom!
yea and i think i'm letting go of my G1 soon if i can't find any nice games (pool, texas hold'em) or useful apps (weather, msn, bloomberg, facebook, wedict...) on android market
Ok i just found my dream app its called Mobi I Net.Its an app to find optimized web sites that fit my G1. Looks like it is still in beta but wow this is going to be big.Watch out Google! This is going to be on my best list.![]()
I've hoarded a number of fitness apps, but the only one I really use has to be CardioTrainer. It's definitely up to par in comparison to all the other fitness apps (MyTracks, BuddyRunner) and has some extra functions which i like a lot (Voice command, race against myself). You can find the app in the lifestyle section, or go to their website http://www.worksmartlabs.com/cardiotrainer/about.php
