calendar notifications

whenever you set a notification for an event what exactly does it mean when it says snooze all or discard all? is that if you set multiple notifications for an event? or if you have the same event daily does it snooze or discard all of the following events? it really has me confused.

I believe the snooze or discard all is if you have multiple events set for the same time. If you only have one event set for that time, then snooze or discard only applies to that one event, not the same event on multiple days.
