from the time i hit the button to the time it capyures the photo is like 6 seconds. Anyone know how to speed this up?
There probably is, or will be an application to speed it up.
no known fix. we will have to wait for an app to tweak this
cant put this damn phone down...
This occured upon my initial use of the camera. What I found was that the auto focus in the camera has some trouble focusing in low light situations, which causes the cameras shutter to lag until it finds an acceptable focus.
Long story short, try it out in a very well lit room or outdoors during the day and you should be fine.
Good Luck.

Ya.. it take forever, its because of the autofocus system. You might get it quicker if you make sure you have something with contrast near the midle of the screen for the autofous to lock onto.
... 'nother question though.. anyone have major issues with it in inside lighting? When i try to take a picture inside in average lighting the picture is DARK as if i had the room lit with candles or had the lights off. Not just a little bit, but REALLY dark.
