is there anyway possible t mobile are able to track a g1?
wether if you got your g1 stolen or lost??
and is there any difference if its activated or not at the moment?
umm not sure, i dont see why they couldnt to be honest...there is a program in the market place that i believe you can do it yourself, i think its called gps tracker

the answer unforunately is not if they can, but if they will and the answer to that has always been no.
i'd get gpstracker or pintail and track it yourself.
I like GPS tracker myself, but it believe it is a source of serious battery consumption, as probably any GPS app will be.
It gets your location at an interval you can specify and then sends it to the InstaMapper website, so it is constantly using both GPS and data access.

you sure it doesn't just use gps when its asked for a location? pintail only uses gps when you send the locate text.
oh thats right i forgot about the website/registering (which is why i chose pintail)
pintails pretty good too. slightly larger file, but nice to have in the background for locating.
