It is just you. It is so much easier to navigate on the G1.

    Heres my views so far,
I seriously loved my iphone, and never though i would ever sell it for anything. I had it for a year, knew everything about it, was exactly what i wanted in a phone + more

i can honestly say i like the G1 so much more though
    *full keyboard
    *touch screen
    *&tracball

    better sound quality
    better feel of the device
    light weight
Faster internet (3g edge .. ect)

if you have a iphone make the switch!

    only complaints
software dosent seem as smooth as an iphone (if that makes sense)
and no ipod&itunes but the music player if pretty great on the g1

i don't own an iphone but i've spent quite a few hours unlocking/playing with them. I'd have to agree with you to a point, i guess, because this phone is much more capable, so theres more of a learning curve. I mean there's actually buttons, ZOMG!! iphone is too dummed down and limited IMO. Most people over 40 are going to be too 'tech stupid' to use this phone. For example, i was showing my boss the barcode scanner and he tried to put the screen up to the barcode. I said "no you're holding it backwards, you have to use the camera" and he goes "ohh.. like this?" and turns the phone upside down still with the screen facing it and then dropped it on his desk.. sigh...

still, if you're a young person who grew up with a computer, and you cant figure out how to use this phone, you probably should be wearing a helmet, if you catch my drift.

I am pretty sure that no ipod / itunes is probably the best thing about the music on the G1. You can actually spend more time listening to music rather than screwing with itunes.
