Cracked Screen Question

Awhile ago I dropped my G1 and the glass cracked straight across but the screen/touch works just fine so I never bothered replacing it. Just recently the crack started to get a little worse so I found a replacement and bought it off of eBay. I should have asked this before I bought it, but can anyone definitively tell me that this is the correct part? http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...tab%3DWatching

Like I said, everything is working fine but the glass has a crack in it. I'm not sure what the piece is called, I hear digitizer and LCD screen thrown around but when I Google those the parts seem REALLY expensive, this part was only $35. Did I just get swindled, or when this arrives will it probably fix my problem? Thanks!

Not sure, but here is manual. It should have the part numbers and how to take it a part and put it back together.

Found the part number and it seems to be the right thing. If I'm correct there are two main parts to the screen. The LCD and the touch-screen or digitizer. From the photos I ordered the digitizer, I was just asking to make sure that it was exactly what I needed, that there was no glass cover over that. Seems that the touchscreen IS the glass piece that you actually touch.

I know I'm a newbie when it comes to touchscreens, just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything!
