Question Difference in USA and UK phones

I was watching that video from the UK and I noticed how the buttons on the chin were lighting up and the send and end keys weren't colored green and red. I had never seen that on any of the videos from over here, so I checked out the other videos and sure enough the buttons were colored and they weren't lighting up. I checked out the Tmobile UK's website and Tmobile here and the phones are different. Check it out:

    UK

    USA

I know it's really not a big deal, but I like how the buttons light up and the way it looks without the colors. It gives it a cleaner look. What ya'll think?

I like UK version - all the same - easy to understand ... with colors - I think they have put them up on USA market due to misc public users who may need those colors ... it seems some of the peeps here in US just want certain things not changed very often

i like how the title of the webpage says TMobileG1 with the google phone, when google specifically said time and time again that this is not the google phone, nor is it to be dubbed the gphone...

just makes me chuckle is all

i agree with you netcom, i'd rather have it that way

I think that they should be aware of customer calling G1 The Google Phone - it is first phone Google got involved with so - I think they should have figured this out before the phone came out.
Here is an example: the guy from work that's into phones a little bit and computer stuff - I tell him I ordered G1 and it should be delivered on oct 22, first thing after seeing picture he said was: "Oh that's the google phone they have been announcing" - there you go ... no matter what - G1 wil stay as first google phone regardless of the fact that's not the G-Phone

PS. I have at least prepared myself with 9phone@gmail.com address lol besides htc_dreamer@gmail.com ...

i know that it makes sense, but google specifically announced that no the G1 is not the google phone, and its not to be called the gphone either... their sentiments for that name were rather clear in some of the video and press conferences...

I agree... I guess desperation for best phone on the market was put into Google perspective regardless of their announcement

Have you pre-ordered your G1 yet?
