Does the US get this version of the G1?

I used the search key a billlion times, but I cant seem to get proper details (if officially out there) that we in the US have the ALL-WHITE G1. All white; the backcover and the front is in all white? There is no grey/brownish/golden-esque back cover?

(Sorry to create a thread about this, if one is already created -- BUT I just need to know, because I've been crushing on the Vanilla fo' a minute...and i think darkums is getting jealous =/) So I want to make it officiall, and should I get the white one? Is it worth. I have 20/20 vision, so the backlighting is no problem -- I wont be bitching about not being able to see the letters (I've memorized the keyboard already).

No...I dont have parkinsons, haha...and when is the CUPCAKE update being launched?

He probably got an early model before T-Mobile halted the shipping of the white model due to paint "chipping".
That would sell way better than the current one with the silver/golden-ish back cover.

My white one had a gray back to it. It "seemed" faster than my older Black one. But it was also newer than my Black one so that would make some sense. I think I should put my gray back on my black one, have a "mixed" G1... like me

It still looks flimsy between the base and the screen where its supposed to open. Ehh - othing else but another version colored differently to represent Beta - Search continues...
