Default G1 and 3G and Europe - Success

    Hi,

Received my SIM unlock code from these guys and can report that 3G is working in Belgium.
You do have to setup a few things before you can start using it.
For me, I had to change the APN to reflect the Proximus settings and fill in the sms stuff + MCC and MNC (I think Android retrieves that info from the network and matches that to the stored ones).

    Anyway, I'm really flipping now.

I know title is wrong. should state G1 and 3G working but hey, schoot me. I'm estatic.

You didn't need an unlock code if you were using the T-mobile network over there. This is a world phone. So it should only be unlocked if you were to use it on another carrier's network.

He said he was using Proximus.

Although its on the 2100mhz band, its not T-Mobile's sim card.
