So here I am at work. Phone is at about 75% charge after a full charge all night at home. All is well. Suddenly I stop receiving signal in a location that I always have a strong 5 bars. After a few minutes waiting for it to return I decided to restart the phone. This worked with my old phone. I turn off the phone and then restart it. I get the pulse vibration and the G1 logo.
After that… blackness.
That was three hours ago. I have plugged it in. Pulled out the battery and sim card. Put them back in. Everything. I can’t even get the G1 logo to come back.
Off to the T-Mobile store I go.
Dead after 12 days. Suckage.
Ay - You do have 14 day's to use the phone. Just return it to the t-mobile store and get a replacement.![]()

Might be just your phone, I've had my phone since October 20th and have yet to have any problems with it. Your's must just be a defect.![]()

T-Mobile actually tried to get me to mail it back to them at my expense. Yea, that didn't go over well. Needless to say, I have a new phone in the mail with a pre-paid box.

try to master reset the phone. with all these apps in beta with all these bugs, the phone is going to act funny.
Yours must have come from the same batch as mine (see my "My G1 is Bricked" thread). Same thing happened to me, except it was while I was trying to hook up the phone via bluetooth to my car's bluetooth. Just froze. CS had me do master reset etc etc....nothing.....blackness.
Oh and I DID HAVE to pay for shipping there. But they are supposed to express mail me a new one at their expense. That was days ago....who knows when I'll get one.
