I was on the phone with a T-Mobile rep and was given a $5 credit on my next bill. Originally called to ask if there was any interruption in coverage for my area (turns out there was, in Texas also). The rep had no info on when a resolution would be reached and that it affects all customers; not only G1 holders. It's been pure trouble in NYC ever since the 22nd G1 launch.
I'm in staten island and have no issues to my knowledge.
im in lower manhattan and im having network problem now, i my service keeps on dropping
Im in TX and didnt notice anything. Good thing too, I just went through that with my last carrier. (Helio....)

I'm in CO and my service has been dead all day today. I thought it was the phone.
hmm.. so it wasn't only me. that's good to know. everytime when I go to my mom's house in the bronx I don't get 3G at all so I just turn off 3G. now I know why.
and today my phone didn't get no signal at all for about an hour or so. no 2G, 3G, nothing. (in brooklyn)
I'm gonna call tmobile tomorrow.
and probably gonna ask if I can still change to black one since I can't see the damn keyboard on mine.
Everyone who experienced this problem should check their voicemail. When service resumed, I had voicemails waiting but no notifications on my G1!
i'm using youmail so no problem with voicemail at least.
but weird thing today was that my phone actually had good signal bars standing up and when I just called from the house phone to check out my new ringtone, it didn't ring.
it just went straight to voicemail. tried again, and same thing happened.
so I called the house from the cell phone and after that it was fine. weird..huh
wow, $5 for 30minutes wasted time on the phone.
