Cant 'Maybe' respond to Google calendar invites from G1 - Android ...
So my wife invites me (my GMail account) to a calendar item she created in her GMail Google / GMail calendar.
Responding to this invite via my G1 - Using the Android GMail app (and of course the browser). Selecting the 'Maybe' link (as opposed to 'Yes' or 'No'), causes the browser to pause for a while as it attempts to resolve the 'Maybe' link. Finally the browser presents a 'pop-up' stating that the page contains too many redirects. This is a consistent behavior.
I have not tried to see if the 'Yes' or 'No' links have the same problem.
Has anyone else seen this issue. I was unable to locate any topics that discuss this problem - But it looks like a big oversight by the developers.
Hi Richie. Unfortunately, I don't have any experience with that particular issue, so I am unable to help you out. Hopefully by my responding and bumping this thread, somebody else will see it and be able to help you.
In the meantime, welcome to AC! We are glad to have you join us.

As an update -
For entirely other reasons (mostly an impatient me) I stumbled across a download of Cupcake (1.5) {http://g1profiles.ning.com/forum/top...teinstall-it-1} and updated my phone manually... Tested to see if the same problem existed, and it looks like it is resolved in the most recent build.
Yay! Cupcake!![]()
