Got AAC+ Streaming on Android G1 1.5 Firmware!

I can't believe it!

I've been trolling this forum as well as others forever!

I've been using Streamfurious for MP3 Streaming my favorite radio stations at 128kb over 3G, but when I go out to the Hamptons, it bumps down to Edge.

I logged into my moodio account.

http://m.moodio.fm

and I have a couple of 32kbps AAC+ Streams in my Favorites... it launched the G1 VIDEO PLAYER and started streaming the AAC+ Stream!

This is the ONLY way I've gotten AAC+ to stream but its working! I'll be trying out 32kbps over my commute this weekend in to Edge-Ville for Tmobile

For the record I've only confirmed two aac+ streams in http://m.moodio.fm

you'll want to add:

http://music.cyber-fm.com:8000/Top40_at_32k.m3u (its 32k AAC+)

and/or

http://music.cyber-fm.com:8000/Rock_at_32k.m3u (its 32k AAC+)

I know I'm new to these forums, but the AAC+ streaming issue on G1 has been my biggest pet peeve!

I would love to be the first one announcing the success of AAC+ on the G1 1.5!

If I'm not... eh, I'm a newb anyway.

Are you sure you refer to AAC+ ... as opposed to AAC (please don't be insulted) but I think if you look in the google groups, they haven't figured out how to do it yet... something to do with http protocol....

im pretty sure aac+ , BUT i could always be wrong(i have been before and will be again )

I just use Gmote, it's my favorite app for three reasons, I work from home so I'm on my network most of the time, I get to listen to my music without stuffing my sd card or spending 2 days uploading to imeem, and I get to scare the hell out of my neighbors when they beg to use my computer... they swear its haunted or the porn ad they just clicked was a virus.
