Here's the list:
- Wrong field is focused when keyboard is openend in Messaging application: Now when the keyboard is opened, the focus will default to the compose (text entry) field.
- Cannot associate with WiFi access point using shared WEP key: Should now be able to associate to access points with a shared WEP key.
- Google Contacts/Calendar Sync (endless loop).
- USB storage: Now a USB notification will appear in the notifications area when connected via USB. Users must select to use USB Storage if desired.
- Email notification doesn't disappear when the Email has been read (POP/IMAP Email client).
- New Email notifications not received (POP/IMAP Email client).
- Browser does not launch YouTube video when Settings > Enable Javascript is unchecked.
- WiFi & Bluetooth occasionally disconnect while charging.
- Support silencing of Email notifications (POP/IMAP Email client)
- Amazon MP3 fix for files with underscores (_) in the filenames
This Just In Got My update this morning unplugged my phone from the chareger this morning at 7:45 Am and im still at 80 percent right now at 4:21pm... Check out my previous post Diary of a Calibrated Battery to see the IMprovement I guess they fixed the distribution of energy slappy waps. battery rules now, Feel sorry for all the suckers who spent 60 bucks on extendo batterys.hahahahaha

yeah i've had some complaints about the battery... now trying 3g on with "use wireless networks for location" off... see how that goes...

i live in chicago and i still havent got anything these ota updates are really stupid they should make it similar to the iphone upgrades... and my phone is squeaky ass hell
Not sure if this works, since I don't have a G1 myself, but for those who want to risk it (seriously, do this at your own risk.)
You can download the update from here: https://android.clients.google.com/u...-RC19+RC28.zip If it throws up a "503 Server Error", refresh the page.
Rename it to just update.zip, and put it in the root of your SD card. Then reboot the phone while holding down Home and Power, hit Alt+L, then Alt+S.
Got this from xda-developers (this thread, about midway down the page), so I don't know if it works. The people there say it does, though.
