I'm getting the same thing. My WiFi would drop the connection constantly and it doesn't pick up like it used to. I have to manually reconnect the WiFi connection. This blows!
Hey pple, sorry to hear that some r having some issues after d update, maybe u downloade so much app that's not necessary , try removing some of them or maybe got o your setting and turn on the wifi instead of the 3g. Chech ur setting pple and have a lot of patience ......remember the phone is great if u know how to set it up right. Have fun. I uodate mine using and phone as a usb hardrive and run d update from d phone, and I didn't encounter any problem so far.
i manually updated to rc29 with no problem. i take it you all have tried deleting the network and setting it up again? if that doesnt work, u might see what customer service can do. if that cant be done, u might just have to master reset the phone and start over again and manuel update to 29. ive had to master reset my phone once because no downloads would progress in the market.
Seems like the update gave me bugs rather than fixed any......![]()
okay somehow it works now. Just tried my browser and youtube when connected to wifi and everything is back to normal.
Well, clearly its a Wi-Fi update maybe i dont know, So just sit back relax could your fingers and toes and before you know it your Wi-Fi will start to work again.
I'm in the same boat: ever since the rc29 update my G1 is unsuccessful in connecting to wireless access points. It can "see" them fine, and the G1 "remembers" them, but when I select one to use, it decides that the particular AP has gone out of range. I have tried with open and WEP-secured networks and have had no luck with either. "Forgetting" the AP does not help. Nor does cycling the power on the phone. I have not yet tried a hard reset. Thoughts?
